Electric Pole Fire Causes Power Outage In Canyon Country, 1,300 Affected

An electric pole caught on fire in Canyon Country on Ruether Ave off of Soledad Canyon Road which caused a power outage Thursday morning.

4:00 p.m. – Power is fully restored.

10:30 a.m. – Power has been restored to most customers, however 450 customers are still without power, according to Southern California Edison. The estimated time for full recovery is being evaluated and unknown at this time.

10:14 a.m. – Most power should be restored by 10:30 a.m., according to Southern California Edison. 

9:46 a.m. – Southern California Edison reports as of 9:31a.m. that 1,352 customers are affected. Edison does not have an estimated time yet as to when the power will be turned back on. Check back for updates throughout the day.
