Emmy award-winning mystery novelist Hank Phillippi Ryan is expected to be at the Valencia Library on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m to discuss her novel “The Other Woman.”
Ryan’s numerous accolades include 28 Emmy awards, and 12 Edward R. Murrow awards for her investigative reporting with Channel 7 News on WHDH-TV.
Her newest independent best-selling novel “The Other Woman,” a sensational thriller examining the dark aspects of power and politics, is a recipient of the MWA/Mary Higgins Clark award and has received a profusion of merits including “Best Book of 2012” by Suspense magazine.
“We hold a variety of authors each year at our branch. At these events, the general public can hear about the writing process and even get their questions answered,” said Nancy Kerr, Valencia library branch manager.
“At this event with Emmy award-winning novelist Hank Phillippi Ryan, there will be a designated time for Q&A,” according to her statement.
The Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library is expected to host a free private meet and greet reception with Ryan at 6:15 p.m. for paid Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library members only. Memberships will be available at the door.
This free evening with Ryan is sponsored by the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library.
