Thief gets away with employee's cash.

An employee taking out the trash was robbed of $50 at a local fast-food restaurant Monday morning.

According to Sheriff's Sgt. Michael Wright, a worker at the Wendy's on Magic Mountain Parkway and The Old Road was taking out the trash at approximately 5:15 a.m. when he was approached by a male Hispanic who demanded money.

"The suspect had what appeared to be a gun," Wright told KHTS. "The victim gave him the money out of his pocket and the suspect ran away in an unknown direction."
