The inaugural KHTS Hometown Station Holiday Light Tour will tour the Santa Clarita Valley on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 7 in search of the SCV’s BEST and BRIGHTEST holiday lights.

The tour, lead by Head Light Tour Judge Michele E. Buttelman (with 14 years judging holiday lights in the SCV); will include judges representing KHTS and area dignitaries.

“The annual Holiday Light Tour is a tradition in the Santa Clarita Valley. It’s great fun to visit the many individual homes and streets that have worked long hours to bring the spirit of the holidays to the SCV,” said Buttelman.

Homes and streets will be judged during the tour which will find the jolly jitney of judges getting to every street and every home they can during the evening.

Homeowners can compete for restaurant gift certificates, streets compete for bragging rights.

“As is the tradition of the Holiday Light Tour, the judges will be happy to accept bribes of food and beverage during the evening,” said Buttelman.

The theme for this year’s Holiday Light Tour is “The Best and Brightest.”
