“There are a few ways that residents can get a hold of the city to report a problem,” said Gail Morgan, City of Santa Clarita Public Information Officer. “First they can log onto (the city’s website) . Then look at the drop down menu titled Santa Clarita 24/7 and from there they can fill out a form and the city will respond.” Santa Clarita Residents Can Report Broken Sprinklers To City Officials

Another way to report a problem is to download the free Santa Clarita app which is free from the app store. After downloading the app, users can take a photo of the sprinkler and the city will use GPS to find it and fix it.

Residents can also call the city’s 24 hour hotline at 661-286-4050.

If the broken sprinkler is located in a region that is not within city limits, residents are encouraged to call the Los Angeles Department of Public Works.

“The Department of Public Works serves as a “one-stop” for reports of that kind,” said Andre Herndon, Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation Public Information Officer. ” There a dispatch can either take a report on the issue or refer a caller to the appropriate party.”

  1. The irrigation pipes are broken on Golden Valley Road below Ermine St. Approximately across Golden Valley from the emergency gates going into Five Knolls. Easy to spot because broken pipes are on the surface.
