As California’s drought continues, Santa Clarita residents can learn how to conserve water at home by attending the 2015 KHTS Home and Garden Show, set for April 25 and April 26 at the Valencia Hyatt.

Santa Clarita water agencies set to appear at the show include Castaic Lake Water Agency, Newhall County Water District and Valencia Water Company.

Representatives will be sharing tips on easy ways to save water, explaining ways to use water more efficiently and providing information on a variety of residential and commercial water efficiency rebate programs, such as lawn replacement and drip irrigation conversion.

“Castaic Lake Water Agency’s staff and Board of Directors work to improve the community by educating residents on easy water-saving practices and implementing programs that reward water-use efficiency, such as our SCV-Friendly Gardening Program and Large Landscape Conservation Program,” said CLWA General Manager Dan Masnada.

Also set to appear at the show are a variety of landscaping companies who can provide homeowners with the information they need to take advantage of some of these rebate programs.

Other landscaping companies who will have booths at the home and garden show include the artificial grass company Southwest Greens, the outdoor hardscaping companies Renaissance Paving and Soil Retention, and the design/maintenance companies All State Landscaping, Olmos Landscape and Pacific Outdoor Living.

KHTS AM-1220 has been producing free Santa Clarita home and garden shows for six years, and expos are owned and produced by KHTS.

This year’s KHTS Home and Garden Show is set to run Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Valencia Hyatt. For more information, click here.
