The 2015 Country Showdown invites musicians from all over the country to share their talents for a chance to win a grand prize of $100,000 at the televised final. They are able to gain experience, recognition, and popularity as they advance to different rounds of the competition from coast to coast.

Past participants include Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, Billy Ray Cyrus, LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson & hundreds more. The Country Showdown helped jumpstart their dreams.

Deadline to enter the 2015 KHTS Country Showdown local competition will be June 24th.

Local winners compete for $1,000 at over 45 state level contests held at fairs and major expositions beginning in July.

State winners then compete at one of five regional contests to determine who will win an an all-expense paid trip to compete in the National Final for the grand prize of $100,000.

Last year’s National Final was held at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
