So you’re craving something delicious. The only thing on your mind is pizza, because that’s what makes life great. Enter, Made in Brooklyn, Los Angeles’ first pizza food truck. This is not New York style pizza, but authentic New York pizza.
Grueling hours in the kitchen, trial and error and research has gone into making the perfect New York pizza. Chef, owner and operator Sean Popock is a Brooklyn native, bringing his Brooklyn pizza flare, recipe and style right here to sunny Santa Clarita. Sean encourages only one way to eat pizza, and that’s with your hands. Drop the fork, the knife and spoon (pizza with a spoon?), and use your manual dexterity to chow down on this delicious morsel of round delight.
Made in Brooklyn handcrafts their pizza. Hand-made tomato sauce, from scratch pizza dough, house-made sausage and meatballs take time and effort, and all of it made in-house under the roof of the truck. Don’t fret if your friend, loved one or acquaintance takes you to the food truck and you don’t like pizza. Salads, garlic knots, and stromboli are also available, and yes, they’re fresh, from-scratch dishes as well.
Growing up in New York City, Sean grew up eating delicious pizzas throughout his childhood and into adulthood. His family owned pizzerias in his home borough of Brooklyn. After graduating college, Sean decided to pursue his MBA at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. He entered the business and corporate world but decided to pursue his passion career in food.
Determined to bring authentic New York pizza, his food truck brings out the traditional pizza equipment found in famous New York pizzerias using gas pizza ovens. Made in Brooklyn uses their from scratch items and pair it with high-quality mozzarella and toppings to give you a delicious pizza.
