“The holidays are one of our busiest times, so we just get set up early and invite people to come to help plan their holiday parties and things like that,” said Rusty Parr, AV Party’s president. “It’s a way to kick off the season.”

Displays are designed for both small at-home gatherings as well as larger events, and local florists provided florals with both Thanksgiving and Christmas themes, officials said.

“We set up all of our tables basically in holiday displays just to give people ideas and to get them in the mood so they don’t feel overwhelmed with having a party in December,” Parr said.

An estimated 100 people attended the event throughout the day, which took place at AV Party Rental’s store location in Newhall.
