The 19th Annual Santa Clarita Marathon concluded Sunday at 2 p.m.

Thousands trained for it, went out there and gave it everything they had.
Winners in the 5K were Andy Ashenden in First Place, Matan Mayer in Second Place and Germain Ortiz in Third Place.
The winners of the Half-Marathon were Brandon Jauregui in First Place, Ismael Samano in Second Place and Alfredo Coronado in Third Place. All were from Santa Clarita.
The winners of the Marathon in the Men’s Division were Ricardo Ramirez in First Place, Jose Reyes in Second Place and Erik Ohler in Third Place.
In the Marathon Women’s Division Dolores Valencia scored First Place, Lisa Reichmann in Second Place and Kelley Puckett in Third Place.

American Medical Response and Whole Foods were at the finish line handing out food and first aid.

The Santa Clarita Marathon is an offical qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
