Bouquet Canyon Road will have two of its three southbound lanes closed on Wednesday, September 28 between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
The City is currently widening the Bouquet Canyon bridge across the Santa Clara River on Bouquet Canyon Road, between Newhall Ranch Road and Valencia Boulevard. This $5 million bridge widening project has thus far resulted in few lane closures, however on September 28, Southern California Edison will be undergrounding utility lines and the City will need to close two lanes southbound on Bouquet.
Commuters are encouraged to use alternate routes including: Seco Canyon Road, Newhall Ranch Road, and McBean Parkway.
The City regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of this road work. For more information, please call Harry Corder, Senior Engineer for the City of Santa Clarita at 661-286-4025.
