Saturday, April 8th, visit the non-profit Gibbon Conservation Center dedicated to preserving the endangered small ape. A guided tour begins at 10 am of the largest group of gibbons (including infants) in the Western Hemisphere by founder Alan Mootnick with a question & answer session. A light breakfast is included. There is also a gift shop and silent auction (cash or check only). In the morning, the gibbons usually sing their haunting territorial call, a truly fantastic and unforgettable experience!
The cost is $30 for adults (18 yrs. & up), $15 for teens (13-17 yrs) and $10 for children (3-12 yrs.). Children under 3 are free.
