Community voices have been heard. The City of Santa Clarita will now offer direct bus service to the Santa Clarita Aquatics and Activity Center beginning Monday, July 10, just in time for summer.
Route 5 and 6 will service the Aquatics and Activity Center located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway. In addition, transfers to and from other routes can be conveniently made at the Mc Bean transfer station. This service will be available seven days a week, operating every half hour beginning at 8 a.m.
“Santa Clarita residents asked and we delivered,” said Jeff O’Keefe, City Transit Manager. “The location is convenient and it makes sense to place a transit stop at one of the City’s busiest facilities.”
The new bus stop located in front of the Aquatics Center is between the Soledad and Valley Center stop and the Reuther stop, which will be relocated westbound. The stop on Oak will be eliminated.
