Candlelight Walk For Car Crash Victims

5th Annual Memorial Candlelight Walk

An Open Invitation For A Candlelight Walk From Tom & Alice Renolds

We will be holding our 5th Annual Memorial Candlelight Walk on Thursday, February 17, 2005.  We would like to invite the community to join with us to remember the four lives that were lost in a horrific car crash five years ago on February 17, 2000.  But also, more importantly, to help send a message to adults and teens alike to always drive safely.

The victims include our two sons Tim and Danny along with a fellow classmate (Nicki Ianozzi) and an innocent driver (Rodney Adams).  This valley has seen way too many deaths due to reckless driving and driving under the influence.

Last year we had over 200 in attendance.  We will be meeting at the Vons/Rite Aid parking lot on Soledad and Sand Canyon at 7:30 pm.  The procession will begin at 7:50 and will walk a short distance to the site of the crash and the crosses.  Candles will be provided to all those who attend.  Hot chocolate and cookies will be served after the walk.

We hope that this candlelight walk will send a message to the teens and adults to always drive safely!

Thank you,

Tom & Alice Renolds
