College of the Canyons to host 18th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair

College of the Canyons will hold its 18th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20.  The fundraising event is sponsored by the College’s Classified Coordinating Council (CCC) and will be held in the college’s parking lot # 8 at the corner of Valencia Boulevard and Rockwell Canyon Road.  Hours for the fair are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.  Admission and parking are free. The fair is a showcase of primarily handcrafted items with vendors coming from all over the state. The wide variety of handcrafted items include:  clothing, ceramics, candles, jewelry, dolls, children’s items, silk floral and holiday décor. Doreen Adams will be on hand with unique hand-painted china and wood.  Cathy Kissack will showcase jewelry at discounted pricing.  Also on hand will be Joy Bowman with Victorian themed décor and jewelry, and Adam Probert with Celtic inspired museum replicas. The fair’s program will include a masseur, belly dance and tai chi demonstrations.  The college’s Associated Student Government will run a bake sale during the event. The COC Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair is an opportunity to find unique, beautifully crafted items for keeping or giving. Most vendors will be taking special and custom orders.
