In just a few months, it will be time again for Santa Clarita’s annual Concerts in the Park, at Central Park.
The city of Santa Clarita already has a lineup of local talent and nationally recognized bands scheduled for the 25th annual Concerts in the Park at Central Park.

Starting Saturday, July 12, there will be eight free performances through Aug. 30, featuring new acts and nostalgic tribute bands.
All concerts start at 7 p.m. and residents are encouraged to bring folding chairs, blankets, umbrellas and an appetite. A number of food vendors will be selling dinner and snacks at the concerts.
Restaurants or businesses interested in becoming a vendor for Concerts in the Park should contact the city’s Arts and Events Office at 661-250-3787. Applications will be accepted starting in May.
Concerts in the Park Performance Schedule
- July 12 – DSB, Journey tribute band
- July 19 – Suzanne Harper, Texaco Country Showdown Finalist
- July 26 – Led Zepagain, Led Zeppelin tribute band
- August 2 – Hotel California, Eagles tribute band
- August 9 – Captain Cardiac and the Coronaries, rock and roll party band
- August 16 – Poncho Sanchez, Latin jazz
- August 23 – Hollywood U2, U2 tribute band
- August 30 – Boogie Knights, disco revival show
During Suzanne Harper’s performance on April 19, KHTS AM-1220 will showcase the semifinalists for the 2014 Country Showdown and select one artist or band to advance to the next level.
Last year, KHTS featured three local semi-finalists at the Concerts in the Park, before Poor Man’s Poison’s performance. Of those three, Suzanne Harper was selected to advance and ended up performing at the national level among four other finalists. She took second place.

For musicians and bands interested in performing at future Concerts in the Park, the Arts and Events Office typically books acts by February. They must submit a music sample, brief biography and photo to Arts & Events Office Music File, 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway.
All submitted materials are kept on file for three years.
