According to annual festival attendees, the food provided at the Cowboy Festival is one of the main highlights at the Cowboy Festival. A Dutch oven is used to cook the traditional “cowboy grub”, which gives it an authentic taste.

The Dutch oven is also used to cook other specialties, including their famous peach cobbler. From savory BBQ to Dutch oven treats, the food at the Cowboy Festival will not disappoint the audience. Crowd favorites at the Cowboy Festival are cowboy coffee beans, and biscuits with gravy on top.

The food at the Cowboy Festival is not something you can find in stores or simply create in the kitchen. One will notice that the food is cooked over open coals, which is the same way that the Cowboys cooked their food on the range. So come over to the Cowboy Festival and experience the food of the great Old West.
