Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday and ends with Holy Saturday. Holy Thursday (also known as Maundy Thursday) and Good Friday, which together with Holy Saturday is known as the Triduum.

Passover begins the evening of Friday, April 3 and ends in the evening of Saturday, April 11. Jewish people celebrate Passover as a commemoration of their liberation by God from their slavery in Egypt and their freedom as a nation.

This weekend there’s an assortment of Easter activities for Santa Clarita residents to celebrate the holiday. There are plenty of Easter egg hunts for children, with Easter eggs packed full of candy and other treats. There are also events for the whole family to enjoy and to celebrate the meaning of Easter.
