Fireworks At Town Center & Castaic Lake

The City of Santa Clarita will be sponsoring a free Fireworks Show at the Westfield Valencia Town Center at Sunset. Fireworks will also be happening at Castaic Lake.

The Friends of Castaic Lake and the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks & Recreation are sponsoring the Second Annual ‘All Day’ 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks Show.

Again this year the public will be able to picnic and swim all morning and then enjoy children’s rides, games, water slides, jumpers, rock climbing, etc. from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  Also in the afternoon there will be food booths, family games and music entertainment.  Music will be provided before and after the Fireworks Show.  It will begin at 5:00 PM and end at 10:30 PM.

The big show, of course, will be a $29,000.00 ‘Lights of Freedom’ fireworks extravaganza.  The show is produced by Pyro Spectaculars, a world-renowned producer of shows for major events.

New for this year, there will be a limited number of VIP Tickets available for Pre-Sale only.  They will cost $50.00 and allow one carload entrance with reserved parking near the main event.

The regular cost of event is only $25.00 per carload at the entrance gates or $5.00 per person walk-in (5 years old and under are free).  No RV’s or open truck bed passengers will be allowed.

It is very important to note that vehicle parking inside the Recreational Area is limited and lots will be filled on a first come basis.  Outside parking lots will be available, but will require the use of walk-in gates on the South and West sides of the Lower Lake Recreation Area.

For more information please call Friends of Castaic Lake (661) 257-4050. Or the City of Santa Clarita (661) 259-CITY.
