Four of the six family members in the house at the time of the fire, are still hospitalized, three at the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks. The blaze started around 6:25am, and some of the residents attempted to escape by jumping from second-story windows. Neighbors said they were celebrating with the family Monday night at their annual holiday party. Inspectors said they are uncertain whether the celebration or decorations at the residence are linked to the blaze.
