Beware the Dark Realm 2016.

Beware the Dark Realm is a high intensity walk-through attraction filled with terrifying live monsters, amazing special effects and incredible sets. It originated in 2013, but the haunt owners have been building home and professional haunts since 1971. Beware the Dark Realm is free, but donations for the nonprofit Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley are welcome.

Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia)

Be prepared to be scared as zombies and ghouls take over the park. Enjoy thrilling rides and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a frightening evening after the sun goes down. At Fright Fest, you won’t have any place to hide from the several mazes and scare zones located throughout the park. The stuff of nightmares lurk around every corner as the dark of night and dense fog washes over the park. The ghouls are set free for their daily hunting rituals. BEWARE!

Pumkin Jack’s Haunted House 2016.

Pumkin Jack’s Haunted House is where Disneyland ends and your nightmares begin… This year will have 8 featured scenes of fear in a 600-square-foot Halloween Haunt. On Halloween night only, there will be a live DJ, photo opportunities, a Ghostbusters vehicle, and Fast Passes available for purchase.

Zombie Town Los Angeles: A Live-Action Zombie Battle Experience (Castaic)

Cardiff Manor is a Halloween Yard Haunt featuring decorations, special effects, animatronics and pneumatics.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Haunted Jailhouse (Santa Clarita)

The Haunted Jailhouse will include kids & adults jailhouse tours, entertainment, petting zoo, game booths and Sheriff’s Department displays. There will also be costume judging taking place for a variety of age groups.

Ever wonder why the park closes at night? Find out as you take a special “moonlit hike” that takes a nightmarish turn!  In almost total darkness, come face-to-face with the restless spirits and creatures that awaken each night at Vasquez Rocks.  Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. . .  You can’t escape the darkness! Free Spooky Story Night: Tales of Terror, Ghosts, Witches, and Monsters

There’s nothing like a blood-chilling ghost story shared in a dark room. Throughout most of human history, tales of spirits, hauntings and poltergeists have been told to eager audiences. Ten storytellers will weave tales of terror and stories about ghosts, witches, monsters, the paranormal and more!

  1. Coffinwood Cemetery is located at 27159 Waterford drive in Valencia. For the past 5 years we have offered a free home haunt with an interactive cemetery, pumpkin patch and other haunting displays. Open Friday, Oct. 27 for a non- scare night, designed for small children with games and prizes. Saturday, Oct. 28 and Oct. 31 for scary nights. Coffinwood began in Canyon Country at Caravilla Mobile home park over 20 years ago. The creative and humorous passion for all things Halloween by Tony Monton and Tom Van Tassel have created a Halloween wonderland.
