HandsOn Santa Clarita Hosts Fundraisers For Dancing With Our Stars

In support of Dancing With Our Stars, HandsOn Santa Clarita officials are hosting several fundraisers for the event.

The next event is scheduled for July 9 at Santa Creek Grille. The event is set to run from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

About 50 people are expected to attend the event and there are 10 spots are left to sign up for the $35 event including appetizers, dessert, a cash bar and prizes.HandsOn Santa Clarita Hosts Fundraisers For Dancing With Our Stars

Fred Arnold is set to be the Hands On Santa Clarita representative for the Dancing With Our Stars Event.

Arnold is the owner American Family Funding, past president of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals, treasurer of the National Association of Mortgage Professionals, host of the monthly “SCV Business Chamber Spotlight” show on KHTS and chairman of the SCV Chamber of Commerce for 2013.

“Fred Arnold is such a huge supporter and a good dancer,” said Seema Shah, executive director of HandsOn Santa Clarita. “He has spent so much time and money on this.”

Every $25 raised at the event will count as one vote for Arnold at the Dancing With Our Stars event on August 22.

“The cash bar will donate a proceed of bar tab,” said Shah. “Prizes include a massage from Pure Wellness, a gift card to Salt Creek Grille worth $50, a gardening basket donated by Home Depot, a dinner and a movie from American Family Funding which includes two bottles of wine and Pinot’s Pallete donated a huge gift basket with a gift certificate for two with two bottles of wine.”

Other HandsOn Santa Clarita fundraising events for Dancing With Our Stars include a Girls Night Out on July 12, A Cigar Night with Fred Arnold on August 1 and a Poker Tournament on August 16.
