Hart High Alumni Basketball Game

On Wednesday, November 23, the 60th anniversary of Hart High School basketball is being celebrated with the Annual Alumni Game scheduled at the Hart High School gymnasium. 

The evening activities will begin at 5:30pm with the boys junior varsity versus the recent alumni team (2003-2005).  The next game to follow features the Hart High girls varsity versus the boys freshman team, scheduled for 6:30pm.  The final tip off of the evening is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm with the 2005-2006 boys varsity team battling the Hart High alumni team.  This year’s alumni team features many players from the past, including Mitch McMullen, ’84, Micah Ohlman, ’90, Mike Posey, ’95 and Jeff French, ’02, and many other outstanding former players.  Former Hart High School principal Laury Strauss, Hart parent Rick Patterson, and former Hart player David Strauss, ’84 are coaching this year’s alumni team.
 
Admission to the game is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12.  A special admission will be awarded to anyone who wears a red shirt to the game.  Adults who wear a red shirt will pay $2.50 and children under 12 who wear a red shirt will be admitted free of charge.
 
All Hart High alumni are encouraged to attend the game and join in the activities at half time and the after game get-together to be held at Final Score restaurant.
 
Although there are limited spaces on the team, former Hart High School varsity players who want to participate in the alumni game should call Laury Strauss, 259-7383.
