The event, to be held at J.R.’s Comedy Club inside Marie Callender’s in Valencia, features a stand-up comedy performance by renowned comedian Tobe Hixx, as well as a silent auction, raffle, and food and drinks for purchase from the restaurant.

All of the proceeds from the auction and raffle and 50 percent of every $20 admission ticket will go directly to the Brittany Foundation to continue their life-saving work, event officials said.

“The Brittany Foundation is a nonprofit, no-kill sanctuary for homeless dogs with a focus on seniors and special-needs dogs that don’t get adopted quickly from the shelters,” said Michelle Sathe, event organizer. “The Brittany Foundation rescues these dogs and provides them with love, great food and medical care until they find forever homes. And if they don’t, they spend their lives at the sanctuary.”
