The event will be held on June 27-28 at the Castaic Lake Water Agency facility located above Central Park at 27234 Bouquet Canyon Road.
Field Day, is where Amateur Radio Operators across both the US and Canada, participate in a yearly drill and operate radios with alternative power and simulate Emergency Communications.
The Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club will also show participants how to talk with people around the country and around the world without phones or the internet.
“This is an opportunity for anyone interested in learning about Amateur Radio to come out and learn about the hobby and we will get them on the air and broadcast,” said the Santa Clarita Amateur Radio Club in a news release.
