Seasonal acupuncture treatments can help boost the immune system, help with allergies and help assist the body in making the transition from one season to the next, according to Kenneally Acupuncture.

People often get sick with a cold or allergies right around the change of seasons, according to Kenneally Acupuncture.

“Specific acupuncture points are selected on the body to boost the ‘element’ or season that we are transitioning into,” said Dr. Kathleen Kenneally, the owner of Kenneally Acupuncture. “The treatments are relaxing and energizing at the same time.”

“I’ve had a very poor immune system my entire life and would get sick at least one or more times a year… Since I’ve been having these treatments, I have not gotten sick once,” said an anonymous Kenneally Acupuncture patient.

Seasonal treatments occur four times per year: March, June, September and December.

Kenneally Acupuncture has been doing seasonal treatments for 10 years and this summer seasonal was their 39th event.

In addition to acupuncture, participants could also take part in the amethyst bio-mat, crystal boutique, spiritual readers, healing massage, Canyon Chiropractic, and the inspirational gift store.

Kenneally Acupuncture and Healing Resource Center invites the community to book an appointment if one has ever thought of giving acupuncture a try.
