The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is offering a free workshop to job seekers and employees who want to expand their skill, taught by Dan Ryan, sales manager at Priority Mailing Systems.
The Sales Skills Workshop is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 3 p.m. at the College of the Canyons University Center on their Valencia campus.
Ryan will explain how to be an effective salesperson, focusing on how to enhance sales ability during a job interview, promotion or business meeting and how to sharpen sales skills to fulfill financial and personal goals.
Participants will also learn qualifications critical to being successful in a sales position, including excellent customer service, an outgoing personality, professional appearance and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Registration is required for the workshop and can be done in person at the WorkSource Center or by calling 661-799-9675.

Dan Ryan is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, with more than 16 years of sales management experience. He currently holds a position as Sales Manager at one of the largest mailing services in the country, Priority Mailing Systems, a company committed to providing commercial and corporate mailing and communications solutions.
