Rob McFerren, co-owner of Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Company, recently won four medals for his handcrafted ales at the 2006 LA County Fair Microbrew Competition.

McFerren won the awards in competition with over 200 beers from all over the country.

He received three silver awards for his Howlin’ Heffeweizen, Hot Rod Double IPA and Golden Eagle Ale. He earned a bronze award for his Wolfbeir Saison (Belgian farmhouse ale).

McFerren, along with his wife, Laina, have owned Wolf Creek for almost 10 years. They will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of the restaurant in March.

Many of McFerren’s beers are available for tasting at the LA County Fair through October 1. They are also available on tap at the restaurant while supplies last.
