During the event, guests will have the opportunity to meet current residents, including those who were part of the Armed Forces.

Guests can also enjoy beverages and live patriotic music performed by guitarist Michael Quest.

“An event raffle will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans,” said officials from the Santa Clarita senior living community in a statement.

This is not the only fundraising efforts Oakmont of Santa Clarita officials have conducted alongside the community recently.

Earlier this month, a total of 29 Oakmont team members raised $9,210 for the Alzheimer’s Association, ranking them as the No. 1 team out of 93 teams in Santa Clarita, according to the event website.

The cause is close to Oakmont of Santa Clarita officials’ hearts, as the Santa Clarita senior living community offers a Memory Care wing so residents living with Alzheimer’s disease can receive specialized care and programming.
