Santa Clarita Valley residents of all ages are invited by the Santa Clarita Public Library to attend an evening with a suspense writer, officials said Thursday.

Jenny Milchman will be discussing her recently published psychological thriller novel, “As Night Falls.” The book tells the suspenseful story of a family’s terrifying experience being held captive in their isolated home in the woods by two escaped prison inmates.
Milchman is the author of the 2013 Mary Higgins Clark awarded novel “Cover of Snow,” and the highly acclaimed “Ruin Falls.”
The event is sponsored and presented by the Friends of Santa Clarita Public Library and will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Valencia Library, located at 23743 West Valencia Boulevard. No RSVP is required to attend.
