Seminar On “Benefits for All Veterans”

Veterans Housing Assistance and Training Support, Inc. invites the community to their first annual “Benefits for All Veterans” seminar on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The seminar will be held in Sherman Oaks at Penny Lane’s Rainbow Room, located at 15314 Rayne Street.

This event will provide more information about federal benefits for veterans, dependents, and their survivors and the necessary steps to obtaining them.

Certified VA Service Officers will be onsite to help attendees get started on benefits claims.

Adrian Nazarian, Assemblymember for the 46th district, Ronald D. Scott, transitional patient advocate, and Joseph Sapien, veterans service officer will be guest speakers at the seminar.

Important documents to bring to this seminar include a veteran’s DD214 or DD215, a child(ren)’s birth certificate or adoption papers to determine dependent benefits, and a veteran’s death certificate to determine survivor’s benefits.

Heather grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and graduated from West Ranch High School in 2012. She recently graduated from College of the Canyons with an Associate's Degree in New Media Journalism.
