A Sig Alert has been posted for a major accident on the southbound Highway 14 truck route.
The Sig Alert will be in effect for approximately 4-6 hours. The California Highway Patrol responded to the initial call at 8:12am to what was first call reported as involving two big rigs. Further reports stated four tractor trailers and three vehicles were involved with one vehicle crushed between two rigs. One person was trapped in the wreckage.
Flatbed tow trucks, fire department personnel, and clean-up crews are on the scene with the California Highway Patrol. Traffic on the SB 14 is slowed to 29mph.
