Hamilton will be on Real Life’s Valencia campus, speaking at their Saturday evening and Sunday morning services.
The Saturday service starts at 5 p.m. and Sunday services start at 8:30, 10 and 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Directly following Saturday’s service, at 7 p.m., there will also be a free screening of the movie “Soul Surfer,” based on Hamilton’s autobiography of the same name and starring AnnaSophia Robb.
Hamilton’s visit to Real Life will coincide with their current message series “The Road,” which follows “the footsteps of Jesus in the week leading to His death and resurrection,” according to the church website.
The theme for the week of her visit is “The Roadblock of Tragedy.”
Lead Pastor Rusty George will lead Q&A sessions with Hamilton, asking about her life, faith and overcoming tragedy.
The upcoming event has created a buzz in the community, said church spokesman Sean Costello.
There are even people traveling from out of state to hear Hamilton.
Attendees will also be able to try out a Surf Simulator, which will be at the church all day Saturday and Sunday.
Bethany Hamilton Live at RLC is free and open to the public. For more information, click here or contact the church at 661-775-7401.
