Put on by KHTS Co-Owners Carl Goldman and Jeri Seratti-Goldman, as well as Arif and Pam Halaby, the event is set to be a “breakfast reception in support of Congressman Steve Knight,” according to event organizers.

“We’re excited to be helping out Steve Knight’s campaign by organizing this breakfast reception alongside the Halabys,” said Goldman. “Steve Knight has done a lot of good for our community, from helping with transportation issues to spearheading the effort to close down Cemex mining operations. And most recently, he and his staff coordinated all the guest appearances and presentations for the 2018 KHTS Washington D.C. Trip.”

The event is set to be hosted by former 790 KABC radio talk show host Larry Elder, who also plans to mingle with those in attendance alongside Knight.

Arif Halaby, president and CEO of Total Financial Solutions, stated that the reason for asking Elder if he would come to the event is not only because of his longtime career on the Los Angeles airwaves, but also because of the “great insight” he offers on current affairs.

“I am a big fan of Larry Elder and enjoy his perspective,” said Halaby. “Whether or not you agree with him, Larry provides a great insight into current affairs and treats ideological opponents with the utmost respect.”

VIP tables that seat 10 — featuring a private meet-and-greet, pictures and autographs — are available for purchase for $2,000.

Tickets have gone fast, but there are some regular tables of 10 left at $1,000, and individual tickets at $100 each.

  1. What’s on the menu? BS, incompetence and lies. In other words same crap, different day. VOTE
Please don’t censor my comment as you routinely do; speaking truth to power is my civic duty

  2. Get out and vote for KATIE HILL

  3. Our taxes pay for Knight- why would we be charged just to speak with him? I have been reaching out to Knight for over 3 years – no response. In fact, one time I had an appointment with staff & the office door was locked. It is time to vote Knight OUT! He only speaks with those who line his pockets. I am also very sad to see how The Signal overly promotes Knight. I wonder what that is about?
