Santa Clarita Ballet – “The Nutcracker”
When:  Saturday, December 17 at 2 and 7:30pm and Sunday, December 18 at 2 and 7pm

Canyon Theatre Guild – “A Christmas Carol, The Musical”
When:  Friday and Saturday at 8pm on December 16 and 17; Saturday and Sunday at 2pm on December 17 and 18; Weeknights at 7pm on December 20 and 21
Where:  Canyon Theatre Guild, 24242 Main Street, Old Town Newhall

Santa Clarita Street Fair
When:  Saturday, December 17 from 11am-2pm and Sunday, December 18 from 12:30-3pm
Where:  College of the Canyons, Parking Lot 8, near the football stadium
Details:  The Santa Clarita Street Fair comes to town every 4th weekend of the month.  This fun marketplace entertains the entire family.  Arts & Crafts and a variety of merchandise will be available for purchase.  Gourmet food trucks arrive on Saturday from 11am-2pm and Sunday from 12:30pm-3pm.  The Farmers Market is open on Sunday from 8am-12pm.  Parking is free.  A portion of the proceeds benefits the SCV Emergency Winter Shelter.  Click here for more information.

Who:  LPAC – AV Big Band Christmas Show

Where:  Lancaster Performing Arts Center, 750 W. Lancaster Boulevard, Lancaster
Details:  The AV Big Band Christmas Show is an audience favorite that features all the festive holiday songs.  The show features Lee Matalon on saxophone and supported by the Antelope Valley’s best jazz musicians.  Click here for further information, tickets and directions.

Who:  An Afternoon With Sierra Highway – Benefit HMNMH Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
When:  Sunday, December 18 at 3pm
Where:  Roman Holiday Wine Lounge at the Valencia Town Center-The Patios
Details:  Join in on a good time all to benefit a good cause the NICU unit at Henry Mayo Hospital.  The local folk/bluegrass/country band, Sierra Highway will provide musical entertainment.  To reserve a table call 661-799-7221.  Suggested donation is $15.  All proceeds will go to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Who:  The Church On The Way – A Winter Wonderland

Details:  Have you ever wanted to take a peek inside Gene Autry’s movie ranch that was once the home of Gunsmoke and Deadwood?  The SCV Historical Society has a new class that will tour Melody Ranch.  The tour begins at the historic Saugus Train Station with a brief lecture on the history of the Western in the SCV.  There will be a tour of William S.
