NorthPark Community Church
Pastor David White at NorthPark Community Church invites us all to the crowning event of their holiday season. You’ll be treated to a magical Candlelight Christmas Eve service complete with musical and performance guests. The moving art of “Aerial Experience” will thrill your heart. There are several services to pick from: 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00 and 11:00pm. NorthPark Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church where everyone is welcome. Candle Lighting – Deputy Glover
The family and friends of Deputy Cameron Glover invite the community to a Candle Lighting Vigil. Deputy Glover was killed in an off duty traffic accident in late April. His family received an out pouring of help and support from the community. In turn, they would like everyone to attend a simple Candle Lighting Vigil at the Castaic Sports Complex in the botanic garden where a tree was previously dedicated in Deputy Glover’s honor. Please bring a candle. The Castaic Sports Complex is located at 31230 Castaic Road.
The Meaning of Christmas – First Presbyterian and The Sanctuary
Many local churches have Christmas Eve services for you to attend and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. First Presbyterian Church of Newhall has been in existence for over 100 years. They have a Family Service at 5:00pm and a Traditional Candlelight Service at 7:00 and 9:00pm. First Presbyterian Church is located at 24317 N. Newhall Avenue in Newhall. ‘Tis the season at The Sanctuary. Their Christmas Eve service will be held at 6:00pm. The Sanctuary is located at 26444 Friendly Valley Parkway. For NorthPark Community Church service hours, please see the NorthPark entry above.

KHTS Holiday Wish
KHTS wishes everyone a holiday weekend filled with the love of family and friends. Don’t let the stresses of this time of year take hold. Hectic Christmas shopping and decorating is over, so, try to find some time to sit and relax in front of the tree (even if it is teetering a bit, as in my case). Please take care if you have to be on the roads and freeways.
