Citrus Classic Balloon Festival
When:  Friday, July 29 from 5pm-11pm; Saturday, July 30 from 5:30am-11pm; Sunday, July 31 from 5:30am-5pm
Where:  18249 E. Telegraph Road in Santa Paula
Details:  Experience all that the Citrus Classic Balloon Festival has to offer:  balloon glows, ascension & tether rides, skydivers & aerobatic air displays, food, wine, live music and much more.  The kids will have a ton of fun with ziplines, kiddie train, walk-in balloon, carnival games, facepainting, inflatable slides, wild animal display and more.  Save on tickets with on-line advance sales.  Click here to learn more.    

Valencia Marketplace Summer Sunset Concert
When:  Friday, July 29 from 6-8pm
Where:  Valencia Marketplace Amphitheater on The Old Road, near Starbucks
Details:  “Rock with a Russian twist” with The Red Elvises.  Summer Sunset Concerts run every Friday through August 12.  This concert series is free.  Come early and shop or eat at any of the many Valencia Marketplace shops and restaurants.  Click here for more information.

Cabrillo Music Theatre-“The Sound of Music”
When:  Wednesday, July 27 at 11am; Thursday, July 28 at 7:30pm; Friday, July 29 at 8pm; Saturday, July 30 at 2 and 8pm; the final show is Sunday, July 31 at 2pm
Where:  Cabrillo Music Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts  
Details:  The hills are alive at Cabrillo Music Theatre with their production of “The Sound of Music”.  After each matinee performance, there will be a sing-a-long to complete the musical experience.  Click here for more information – click theatre logo.   

Concerts in the Park
When:  Saturday, July 30 at 7pm
Where:  Central Park on Bouquet Canyon
Details:  This week brings Ken O’Malley and the Twilight Lords to the stage.  You’ll be transported to the green isle with their sounds of Ireland.  You’ll hear everything from traditional Irish tunes to classic songs of Van Morrison.  Bring your chairs and picnic baskets and enjoy this free concert under the evening stars.

Santa Clarita Regional Theatre-“Music Man”
When:  Saturday, July 30 at 8pm; Sunday, July 31 at 2pm (see website for other dates)
Where:  Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons
Details:  The musical “Music Man” always offers good family fun.  Come see if charismatic conman “Professor” Harold Hill can be tamed by River City’s Marian the Librarian while he builds a boys marching band.  You’ll be humming along with tunes like Seventy Six Trombones and Trouble (Right Here In River City).  Click here for more information.   

Jazz & Blues Concert
When:  Friday, July 29 from 7-9:30pm – every Friday through August 26
Where:  Town Center Drive at McBean Parkway
Details:  This week the Jazz & Blues Concert features Artwork Jamal.  Artwork Jamal plays a “mix of standard blues classics as well as some driving and creative originals”.  All the Jazz & Blues Concerts are free and family friendly.  You are sure to enjoy yourself at this street party setting.  Click here for more information.
