The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall is the largest traveling replica of the actual Vietnam Memorial Wall. It is an 80% replica with 100% of the names of the victims from the Vietnam War. The Wall creates an opportunity for communities to raise local awareness for its Vietnam veterans and to help our nation’s heroes, one community at a time.
Volunteers will be needed for various tasks such as security, computer research, giving general directions, working the information desk, etching (transferring names from the Wall to paper), dog sitting and Vietnam Vets to console visitors (particularly evening and early morning hours). Volunteers will also be needed to setup the Wall on the morning of September 26th and dismantle the wall on September 29th in the evening.
