Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available in advance of the event, which will take place at the Tournament Players Club Valencia on Oct. 27.
The golf course will be closed on Oct. 27, giving guests a private experience, and the Alumni Club has invited 17-year-old athlete Jake Olson to speak at the event.
Olson, a junior at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, lost his left eye to cancer when he was 10 months old and went completely blind at age 12.
Before the surgery to remove his right eye in 2009, Olson, a Trojan fan, had the chance to visit USC football practice and interact with the team.
He credits them with helping him get through that difficult time, he said on a short documentary posted on YouTube in February.
Despite his disability, Olson now plays for his school’s varsity football team.
Tickets for the Golf Classic are available online, at $100 per person and an additional $50 for dinner. Group rates are also available, at $500 for four golf and dinner tickets.
Sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $500 to $5,000.
Proceeds from the event will go to the USC Alumni Club of SCV Scholarship Fund.
