Imagine…An Evening In Paris
Paris, the City of Lights, is coming to Santa Clarita.  Imagine…An Evening In Paris is the much anticipated fundraising event for the American Cancer Society here in the SCV.  The theme depicts the games, excitement and camaraderie that guests will enjoy this Sunday at Robinson Ranch.  There will be dinner, entertainment and much more while community leaders are honored with The American Cancer Society’s Legacy of Hope Award.  Cancer does not discriminate.  It will strike one out of every three Californians during their lifetime, and three out of four families.  The American Cancer Society has programs and services available to ease the burden of caner in the SCV and beyond.  For more information, call Candy at 298-0886, option 3.

A Night At The Rancho At Wayside-Hogs, History and Hope For Homeless Families
Have you ever wanted to take a behind-the-scenes look at a local landmark?  A Night At The Rancho at Wayside will give you a glimpse from the years when pigs and cattle were routinely a part of daily life on the bucolic rancho to today’s modern Pitchess Detention Center.   Saturday’s tour begins at Jack Bones Equestrian Center at 5:00pm.  It will include the weapons training area where “S.W.A.T.” starring Samuel L. Jackson, was filmed, Old Max, the oldest facility, and a view of education-based rehabilitation services, such as pet grooming and bicycle repair.  To close the evening, guests will dine with command staff at Cedar Lodge.  A portion of the proceeds benefits Hope Gardens Family Center, a transitional living and housing facility for homeless women and children.
