FAST FRAME Photography & Art Exhibit
FAST FRAME Valencia is holding an exceptional exhibit of Fine Art and Abstract Photography.  Owners Randy Burzynshi and Rose-Marie Longon invite you to see the unique work of Jason Douglas Moran.  Jason captures unique perspectives of the common elements of fire, water, wind and earth in their natural state.  He is one of the few photographers that still shoots 35mm transparency film.  He creates the opportunity to see things in a whole new way.  While you are in the store you will see a wide variety of possibilities to frame your personal photos, painting or prints.  FAST FRAME is located at 24204 Valencia Boulevard near Kohl’s.  They are open Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

SCV Historical Society-“Newhallywood”
The SCV has always been a Hollywood backlot.  Early producers called the area around Newhall “Newhallywood”.  The SCV Historical Society is offering a film class presented by local resident and Hollywood historian and SCV film expert, E.J. Stephens called Newhallywood On Location:  History of Film/TV in the SCV”.   Have you ever wondered where the final scene of the silent era was filmed?  Or where John Wayne first put on spurs?  Or where the Americans ‘fought’ the Battle of Iwo Jima?  These questions will be answered by E.J. Stephens in this class.  The series of classes features lectures, guest speakers and clips from several of the films and television shows filmed in our valley, as well as trips to the actual locations themselves.  The class will be held Saturday from 1-4pm at the SCV Historical Society located at Heritage Junction Historic Park inside Hart Park near the Saugus Train Station.  Call 254-1275 to register.  The cost is $15 per session.
