Born to Be Wild
Get revved up and rarin’ to go for Born To Be Wild absolute fun. Saturday get your motor runnin’ and get over to the Boys and Girls Club Auction, including items like a 2007 Honda Accord donated by Valencia Acura, and a motorcycle donated by Old Road Harley Davidson. Exotic vacation sites, art, jewelry, antiques, concert and event tickets, and sports and celebrity memorabilia will all be up for auction. Born To Be Wild will be held at the Mann BioMedical Park on the Rye Canyon Loop.

Jazz & Blues Concert
Friday brings us the start of the Lexus of Valencia Jazz & Blues Concert Series featuring world class jazz and blues music right here in Santa Clarita. This free series continues over the next 12 Fridays. Bands play from 7-9:30pm on Town Center Drive in front of the Hyatt Valencia. There will be food and beverages, including wine and beer for the adults. A portion of the weekly sales from the beverage bar will be donated to a local non-profit organization. A new feature this year is the opportunity to reserve a table for a reasonable fee. Please call for more information and to reserve your table.

Yoga Yoga Workshop
Yoga Yoga is holding an Asana Standing Poses workshop on Saturday. You’ll be guided through a series of asanas that emphasize alignment, stability, grounding, and balance established in a deep rooted connection to the earth. The workshop runs from 1:30-4:30pm. Yoga Yoga is at 24421 Walnut Street, off of Lyons, near the Egg Plantation. Phone 222-7777 or drop in.

Kid Print
The SCV Optimists are holding Kid Print on Saturday and Sunday at Old Orchard Park. Fingerprinting children provides parents with an important form of identification and peace of mind. The Optimist will be part of the Fine Arts Show from 10am-5pm both Saturday and Sunday at Old Orchard Park on Lyons at Peachland.
