Macy’s Santa Clarita Grand Re-opening
Stop by and say hi to Sharon Bronson and Jon Dell at the Macy’s Santa Clarita Grand Re-opening this Saturday, November 7.  Broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to noon, KHTS will be giving away lots of prizes.  Along with face painting, balloon animals, and musical entertainment, the first 250 shoppers will receive a $10 Macy’s gift card.  Don’t forget your cameras because from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. children will have the opportunity to meet Hello Kitty!

SCV Alternative Gift Fair
Get a head start on your holiday shopping this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 3 p.m. at the SCV Alternative Gift Fair.  Held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, guests have the opportunity to purchase items from various villages as well as to contribute money to an array of non-profit organizations which will be used to benefit needy families around the world.  In return contributors will receive various gifts including notecards, CDs, and baseball bats.

Hart Rampage Band Competition
Cheer on your local high school marching band at the Hart Rampage Band Competition this Saturday at College of the Canyons.  Starting at 10 a.m., local bands will perform their shows, competing for the sweepstakes title.

Santa Clarita Symphony Trombone Feature
Join music educator Jeff Gilbert, and professional trombonist John Roberts this Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. as they play and teach children about the trombone.  Held at Border’s Bookstore this musical feature is part of the Santa Clarita Symphony’s monthly petting zoo.
