Support breast cancer awareness month by attending the Soroptimist International of Santa Clarita Valley’s 6th annual, Bras for a Cause event this Sunday, October 4, from noon to 3 p.m. Taste hors d’oeuvres from around the world and bid on bras and other silent auction items. Tickets start at $65.

Fun In The Sun Chili Cook-Off
Have fun in the sun this Saturday, October 3, at the L.A. County Sheriff Department’s 4th annual Chili Cook-Off. Starting at 11 a.m., guests can taste chili, play games, attend the antique car show, and watch an equestrian show. Proceeds benefit the Santa Clarita Special Olympics and Heads Up Therapy on Horseback.

All Corked Up
Head to College of the Canyons this Saturday, October 3, for the International Wine Festival hosted by All Corked Up. Starting at 5 p.m. guests can enjoy fine wine, beer, and food from local restaurants. Proceeds will benefit the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center’s new K-12 Arts Education Outreach program.

Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament
Go “all in” at the Special Children’s Art Foundation poker tournament this Saturday, October 3, to benefit the Golden Valley Bridge Mural Project. Held at the Activities Center at the George A. Caravalho Santa Clarita sports Complex, guests can play cards and be entertained by KHTS morning show host, Brandon Gibson. Registration starts at 5 p.m. and the game starts at 6 p.m.
