Monster Dash 5K Run
Grab your halloween costume and get ready to climb up Dead Man’s Hill, run through the pumpkin patch, and work your way through several corn and sunflower mazes at the Monster Dash this Saturday.  Held at Lombardi Ranch, participants are invited to stick around after the race for an afternoon filled with wagon rides, face painting, a petting zoo and more.  The race starts at 8 a.m.  All proceeds benefit the City of Hope.

Heritage Haunt
Don’t miss your chance to get spooked at the Heritage Haunt Nightmares of Newhall this Saturday.   Starting at 6 p.m. guests have the opportunity to wander through mazes, test their courage in the scare zone, and enjoy a haunted hay ride.  Proceeds benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society and the William S. Hart Union School District.

Family Nature Walk
Pack a picnic lunch and take your family to the Placerita Canyon Nature Center this Saturday for the Family Nature Walk.  Great for children and adults of all ages, this easy  walk allows hikers to explore the great outdoors.  The one-hour walk begins at 11 a.m.

Bands of America Competition

If you love music, head to College of the Canyons this Saturday for the Bands of America Competition.  From 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., high school marching bands from across the nation will perform a variety of shows as they battle for the title of Regional Champion.

Westfield Valencia Town Center Trick-or-Treat
Take your kids to the Westfield Valencia Town Center this Saturday for some safe halloween fun.  Starting at 4 p.m., children can trick-or-treat at participating stores to receive some tasty snacks.  Then, at 6:15 p.m., children can show off their costume and enter the costume contest.
