Spend some quality time with your kids on Saturday, September 12 at the Boys and Girls Club’s 4th annual, Day for Kids.  Enter in raffles and enjoy free entertainment and food.  Let the kids have fun on carnival rides and play some family games.  Admission is free.   Be there when the games begin at 12 p.m. at Newhall Park.

LARC Ranch Anniversary
Celebrate LARC Ranch’s 50th anniversary on Sunday, September 13.  Head to LARC Ranch at 1 p.m. for lunch and refreshments.  Bring your 50s clothing and get ready to dance to live swing music performed by The Tom Noland Band starting at 2:30 p.m.  Tickets are $50 for children ages 5-13 and $125 for adults.  All proceeds benefit the LARC Foundation.

Electronic Waste Event
Donate your unwanted electronics at the Pitchess Detention Center South Facility Jail visitor’s parking lot this Saturday, September 12.  Starting at 9 a.m., drop off televisions, monitors, computers, lap tops, cell phones, and small electronic appliances along with two boxes of personal information which Data Destruction will shred for free.  Receive tips to help you avoid identity theft.  Donations will benefit the Los Angeles Sheriff Department sponsored charity, “999 for Kids.”

Hold ‘Em Not Hassle ‘Em Poker Tournament
Go “all in” at the 3rd annual Texas Hold ‘Em Not Hassle ‘Em Poker Tournament at the TPC Valencia this Saturday, September 12.  As the tournament kicks off at 5 p.m. guests can win prizes, be entertained by guest celebrities, and enjoy food, cigars, and wine.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.  All proceeds benefit the SCV Youth Project.

Evening Under the Stars
Enjoy an evening under the stars at the Michael Hoefflin Foundation’s 16th annual gala dinner and charity auction.  Hosted by the Mann Biomedical Park in Valencia, guests can drink wine, enjoy fine dining, and rock out to the Grammy nominated Fabulous Thunderbirds.  Bid on items at a silent and live auction.  The evening begins at 6 p.m.  Individual tickets are $150.
