Tapas Barcelona Relay For Life Fundraiser
Eat, drink, and be merry at the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life fundraiser.  Held on Saturday, September 19, at the Elks Lodge, guests can enjoy a savory five-course meal, bid on items at a silent auction, and hear testimonies of cancer-survivors.  Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m. and dinner begins at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $40.  Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

60 Minutes With An Artist
Spend Sunday afternoon with your kids at the Santa Clarita Artist Association’s, 60 Minutes with an Artist.  At this free presentation, guests will have the opportunity to talk to artist Ray Pinjanthuk and learn how he creates his masterpieces.  This hour-long presentation begins at 2 p.m. at the Valencia Library.

Sherlock Holmes
Don’t miss opening night of Sherlock Holmes’ The Hound of the Baskervilles at the Repertory East Playhouse.  Starting Friday at 8 p.m., the cast will engage the audience in a suspenseful tale.  Tickets are $18.

Family Nature Walk and Animal Presentation
Grab a breath of fresh air and explore the great outdoors this saturday from 11 a.m. to noon on the family nature walk at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center.  Pack a lunch to eat at the picnic tables and then stick around to learn about local wildlife at the animal presentation at 1 p.m.

Woman of Honor Dinner
Recognize Dr. Dianne Van Hook, chancellor of College of the Canyons, at the Betty Ferguson Foundation’s Woman Of Honor Dinner on Saturday, September 19.  Held at the TPC Valencia from 6-9 p.m., guests can enjoy a catered meal and dance the night away.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.
