Expedia’s travel blog, “Viewfinder,” praised Santa Clarita as one of the 15 healthiest places to travel in its “Wellness Report 2018,” published October 30, 2017.

Focusing on items such as the quality of parks, outdoor activity spaces, healthy food options for a variety of dietary needs, wellness-focused spas, fitness centers and more, Santa Clarita received a score of 21 out 25.

Other cities that received the same score are Honolulu, Hawaii; Aurora, Colorado and Scottsdale, Arizona.

“We are honored that such a well-recognized brand, like Expedia, would mention us in their report,” Carrie Lujan, city of Santa Clarita spokeswoman. “We do make an effort to provide activities, restaurants and businesses that create unforgettable experiences, whether on vacation or stay-cation, so it’s exciting that our efforts have been recognized.”
