A Santa Clarita woman died after she lost control of her motorcycle Friday night in Valencia.

Jennifer Sehenuk, 29, was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Commerce Center Drive approaching Witherspoon Parkway around 8:30 p.m., traveling at approximately 70 to 75 MPH.

Immediately after passing another vehicle, she lost control of the motorcycle and hit the concrete curb along the median. She was ejected from the vehicle, and hit the steel sign pole and came to rest against a tree trunk in the center divider.

CHP and L.A.County Fire Department personnel responded to the collision and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
