Santa Clarita City Councilman Frank Ferry is out of intensive care and is now in a private room at Providence Holy Cross Hospital.

Late Wednesday afternoon, Ortiz told KHTS that his family sent a text message saying that Ferry had “a positive night and a positive day.”
